Kaiser - well said and I am at that point of switching to an EFT personal training billing system. I built my business from a small room in my house to a spectacular small fitness center (10,000 sq/ft) blending fitness, physical therapy and orthopedics. I have the EFT in place for membership - but the PT thing - I need it. You are so right! I am sick of chasing money and making concessions. I live in northern NH and we get a lot less here for the same service. Thanks for the article.

Kaiser,
This is so true as a co-owner of a personal trainer studio with 20 trainers that work for us as well as the co-owner of a software company that we designed to handle all of our scheduling, billing and member management having automated payments is the ONLY way to go. That is part of the reason that we start our second company to be able to spend time growing our business not chasing payments form our existing clients. We wanted to be able to give great service and focus on the client not be worrying about if we were going to get paid.
Thanks for spreading the word and check out our site to see what we help other trainers accomplish.
