Hi, Iâm Shawna K. Iâm a bad ass trainer in Calgary AB. I say âbad assâ because I âwalk the walkâ. I have visible abs, can do 50+ pull ups in less than 5 minutes, human flags and more. I know thatâs not that spectacular, but I neglected to mention that Iâm 50 years old. I get asked all the time if Iâm either just finishing or getting ready for a physique contest and my reply is, âYes….in 1990…â

The truth is, I donât train for hours daily or follow a starvation diet. Iâm not that special, I just employ special training techniques that really work. Iâm walking proof and so are my clients, including my boot camp clients that use my Challenge Fat Loss style workouts daily.

I use a method that I call M2A, or muscle metabolism acceleration. Itâs a scientifically proven workout system that utilizes HIIT (high intensity interval training) paired in specific combination with strength training to do a couple of things.

First of all, the workouts are short and intense. The intensity burns calories during the workout as well as creates âafterburnâ so calorie burning continues through out the day. Muscle tone is developed through the strength training portion of the workouts so that resting metabolism is increased. And the super hero fat burning hormone GH is increased through M2A training. GH or growth hormone naturally declines with age, so these workouts naturally give it a boost.

Sound good? It is. I use my M2A methods with my clients all day long. I never have a shortage of clients through my doors. Of course, I use these workouts myself too. As a trainer, I know that sometimes the last person on your training agenda is YOU. Good thing workouts are 20 minutes or less. You have no excuse NOT to train.
